Which service route should you use?
Best for driver license, ID, title or another service when you want a planned time. A valid ID is required to book appointments.
Use walk-in when the office accepts the service. Virtual Walk-In is a digital queue for certain in-person driver license/ID visits.
Property tax, business tax, e-bill and many renewals can be completed without a branch visit. Kiosks are limited to vehicle-registration renewal and decal printing.

MDC Tax Collector FAQs
What is the official MDC Tax Collector website?
The official Miami-Dade County Office of the Tax Collector website is mdctaxcollector.gov. Appointment, Virtual Walk-In and TConnect booking routes use the official subdomain app.mdctaxcollector.gov. Property-tax payment opens a separate county-taxes.net service linked by the official website.
Do I need an appointment for the MDC Tax Collector?
Official location pages say an appointment is not required to visit, but scheduled appointments are offered for certain services. Appointments are especially helpful for driver license, ID, title and other document-heavy transactions, and they receive priority over walk-ins.
How does the MDC Tax Collector Virtual Walk-In work?
Virtual Walk-In is an in-person smart queue for driver license or ID customers without a prior appointment. At a participating office, scan the posted QR code, register on your phone, receive a return time and come back about 15 minutes before that time to check in.
Can I walk in without using Virtual Walk-In?
The official visit chooser offers both walk-in service and appointments. Normal walk-in capacity depends on the location, service and time of day. A branch may use Virtual Walk-In for driver license/ID customers while handling simpler tax or tag transactions differently.
What is the MDC Tax Collector login?
There is no single login for every service. Appointment and TConnect functions use app.mdctaxcollector.gov and may prompt account creation or sign-in. Property-tax and business-tax services use separate official systems linked from mdctaxcollector.gov.
Is there an official MDC Tax Collector mobile app?
The official website currently says its app is coming soon. The word “app” in app.mdctaxcollector.gov refers to the browser-based appointment and queue portal, not an app-store download. Avoid unofficial lookalike apps.
Where is the MDC Tax Collector Hialeah Gardens office?
